One of the busiest metros of India, Mumbai is the city which never sleeps and is full of night life. While exploring what to see in Mumbai, I came across that Lakme Fashion week 2016, which was about to get started in a day. This was headlines since few days in the newspapers, so thought of travelling. The weather was hot and humid, but I don’t mind going in any season. This event was all about latest trend and saw many stars and celebrities under the same roof. The collection on the ramp was so complete of what a wardrobe needs to have in the summers.
The show had best of the collection of colours, from white to subtle shades, from chanderi to silk and cotton and what not. It was no less than Paris fashion event, with countless photographers. Shantanu and Nikhil displayed a separate line for men and women’s wear where Ritesh Deshmukh and Malaika Arora Khan were the showstoppers. I was unbelievable to see the entire glamour industry gathered at one place, and me being its part. PHEW!
After a day with people all around, this was the time to have some fun to visit and witness the outskirts of Mumbai. I decided to spend a day alone from every hassle and made a halt at Lonavala, a small hill station between Mumbai and Pune. This place is known for its scenic beauty and pleasant climate and is entirely different from Mumbai. This place is hardly 110 km from Mumbai and 60 km from Pune. One can always plan a trip on the weekend from these two busy cities and experience some change.
